This has been a long time coming and probably the last few posts for the topic but this is the build and actual documentation of the working final prototype

As for the chassis I used a Traxxas Slash Truck, with modified suspension to handle the weight.

The battery packs: I was orginially going to construct a custom battery pack for the projector to run off of, but now I’ve decided to go with a better power managed Energizer battery pack. This makes for a lot easier management and calculation of time. It also gives me a much more sealed environment.

The projector chosen had to match the battery specs as listed, and with the XPS1800 battery pack I can run an estimated 3.5 hours of time with the projector. I chose the Acer K11 projector. The native resolution is a little strange at 856 x 600 but the full resolution capable is a 1080p picture through HDMI input.
